Zaprite offers the ability to connect your Breez Lightning Address and receive payments directly into your Misty Breez Wallet. If you haven’t setup a Misty Breez wallet, head over to breez.technology/misty to learn more and get started.
Connect Your Misty Breez Wallet
The following is a short guide on how you can connect your own Misty Breez wallet to Zaprite to start accepting lightning payments through your Breez Lightning Address.
Step 1: Activate Misty Breez payments
The first step is to activate the Breez Lightning Address plugin. Simply visit the Connections tab and click the ‘Connect’ link under the Breez card.
Once activated, you will be brought to the ‘Settings’ screen to configure your connection.
Step 2: Configure your connection
The next step involves adding your Breez Lightning Address username. You can find your Lightning Address when you click Receive in the Misty Breez wallet. You only need to enter your username. Do not enter the last part of the Lightning Address (@breez.fun).
Make sure you check the box to agree to the terms, then click [Connect].
Note: Your Breez Lightning Address connection can only be used to generate receive invoices. Zaprite can never access your funds or spend from your account.
If you want to disconnect your Misty Breez wallet, you can simply click the Disconnect button and your Breez Lightning Address information will be removed from our database. You can reconnect at any time.
Step 3: Enable Misty Breez on Checkouts
Now you are free to enable Misty Breez payments on Checkouts for Invoices, Payment Links, Virtual POS Terminals and API Orders. Simply click the Misty Breez toggle on the Checkout section to allow your customer to pay over lightning and have funds deposited straight into your Misty Breez wallet. The Checkout settings page includes a similar toggle for enabling Misty Breez on your default Checkout.
Note: Your Misty Breez wallet needs to be online for Zaprite to be able to create Lightning invoices.
Your payer will now see a Lightning option on your hosted Checkout page and a QR code will be automatically generated by Zaprite using your Breez Lightning Address.
When the Order is paid, you will receive an email notification with the payment details and the payer will be shown an option to download a PDF receipt.
That’s it! You should now have Misty Breez Lightning payment options enabled on your Zaprite Checkouts.
When a payment is detected, we’ll record it in your Transaction history for future accounting and reconciliation.
Of course, you’ll also see the original Transaction in your Misty Breez activity tab.
